This innovative, inflatable mat is like a really cool, reversible jacket...you can use it 'vinyl-side up' or 'pit-side up,' depending on the needs of your gym, clinic or students. Use the Air Platform Mat 'vinyl-side-up' when a platform or flat surface is required or 'pit-side-up' (holes exposed) to play in, support upright standing for therapy purposes or as obstacles to jump over.
Vinyl Side Up Uses: Place additional foam mats on top, creating an instant, easy-to-move resi-mat. It can also be used as a Vault Table Station, Downhill Incline (Cheese Wedge), Wall Station, Beam Dismount stations. Please note that the vinyl on this side is not 'inflated'. If you want to use this as a landing surface, we recommend adding a mat to the top surface.
Pit (holes) Side Up Uses: Gentle support for individuals needing postural control, core strengthening drills, obstacle course, ball pits, fun and games.

Do you use the Air Platform Mat on the top or the bottom?
The answer is: Both! There are a huge variety of drills for both the top and bottom of the Air Platform Mat. Get the most use by getting creative in how you plan to use the Air Platform Mat.
How long will it take to inflate?
Using the electric pump included with purchase, the Air Platform Mat will take approximately 5-7 minutes to inflate.
How long should I expect my Air Platform Mat to stay inflated?
The Air Platform Mat should hold air tightly throughout the day. It might be slightly soft in the morning and may need to be topped off for the day. Note: extreme air temperature changes may cause the air inside to constrict or expand which may be a factor in how tight or soft your Air Platform Mat feels.
